本日、誠和中学校の3年生は、体験型英語学習施設「KGG(KITAKYUSHU GLOBAL GATEWAY)」を訪れ、語学研修を実施しました。
On September 24th, third-year students from Seiwa Junior High School visited KITAKYUSHU GLOBAL GATEWAY (KGG) for a language training program.
KGG is a hands-on English learning facility. In areas designed to simulate real-life situations—such as a studio, airline, market, and hotel—the students challenged themselves to communicate in English with native-speaking staff, enjoying the opportunity to learn practical conversation skills.
This training served as a wonderful chance to put their daily English studies into practice. It was a highly productive day that also helped them prepare for their upcoming school trip to Singapore and Malaysia.

From September 16th to 21st, the “Australia Brauer College Homestay Program,” hosted by the Fukuoka Japan-Australia Society, took place at our school. A delegation of 11 members from Brauer College in Warrnambool, Victoria, Australia, visited Fukuoka and stayed with our students’ families, deepening wonderful connections through various school and community activities. On campus, the program kicked off with an orientation, followed by hands-on experiences of rich Japanese traditional cultures, including tea ceremony, Kendo, flower arrangement, and calligraphy. They also attended regular classes alongside their host students and enjoyed making and tasting traditional everyday dishes like yakisoba and onigiri during a cooking class, sharing precious moments of daily school life. Furthermore, they joined a short excursion to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine and the Kyushu National Museum, providing them with a valuable opportunity to experience our regional history and culture. Although it was a brief stay, the memories of these six days and the bonds formed through learning about each other’s languages and cultures will undoubtedly become lifelong treasures for our students. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the host families for their warm hospitality, as well as to everyone at Brauer College and the Fukuoka Japan-Australia Society.
